Camping Costs
Tent sites – no charge
Unpowered caravan site: no charge
Powered caravan site: $20 extra / site additional to weekend pass

Bunk: $40.
Each bunk room consists of multiple bunk beds.
All bunk rooms are conveniently located to toilet and shower facilities.
At the Canterbury Folk Festival, we have the health, safety, and welfare of our audiences, artists, and all our volunteers at the forefront of everything we do.
In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreaks, and on the advice of the NZ Ministry of Health we have implemented some additional health and safety procedures across the Festival as a precaution. As part of this we respectfully ask that the following people refrain from attending our event:
- Anyone who has been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 and is being asked to self-isolate.
- Anyone arriving in New Zealand within the last 14 days.
- Anyone who is being asked to self-isolate.
- Anyone who is feeling unwell.
Event cancellation
The Canterbury Folk Festival will follow instructions of the Ministry of Health and if required will cancel the scheduled November festival to protect our supporters from further spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
In the event of cancelling the festival and you have purchased tickets and are seeking a refund, no action is required on your part. We will contact you directly with details of your refund which will be processed within 1-2 weeks. We will work through refunds as quickly as possible.
Before requesting a refund, please consider whether you can gift a
portion of your ticket purchase back to the festival so that they can stay afloat through these uncertain times. The Canterbury Folk Festival is a registered charity so any donations are a tax deductible and a receipt can be provided.

You are warmly invited to participate in our family-friendly music festival. The Festival committee has procedures in place to ensure all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Anyone behaving in a manner deemed destructive, disorderly, abusive or unsafe may be immediately removed from the festival site and may not be allowed to return, may be served with a trespass notice, will not have their ticket price refunded, may be liable to pay any costs incurred, and further action may be taken as required.
A person must be aged 18 years to consume alcohol on the festival site.
