- Anyone who has been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 and is being asked to self-isolate.
- Anyone arriving in New Zealand within the last 14 days.
- Anyone who is being asked to self-isolate.
- Anyone who is feeling unwell.
The Canterbury Folk Festival will follow instructions of the Ministry of Health and if required will cancel the scheduled November festival to protect our supporters from further spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
In the event of cancelling the festival and you have purchased tickets and are seeking a refund, no action is required on your part. We will contact you directly with details of your refund which will be processed within 1-2 weeks. We will work through refunds as quickly as possible.
Before requesting a refund, please consider whether you can gift a
portion of your ticket purchase back to the festival so that they can stay afloat through these uncertain times. The Canterbury Folk Festival is a registered charity so any donations are a tax deductible and a receipt can be provided.
From the festival committee to yours, kia kaha and stay safe.
You are warmly invited to participate in our family-friendly music festival. The Festival committee has procedures in place to ensure all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience.
