Storytelling and Poetry Reading Session led by Mairi Campbell, Scotland

Mairi Campbell is an award-winning, highly-skilled musician and performer (Instrumentalist of the Year, Scots Singer of the Year, Tutor of the Year – ScotsTradMusicAwards), who is well regarded within the traditional arts. As a storyteller, Mairi is the bearer of unique Scottish cultural arts and traditions. Her work is very well known and esteemed in Scotland and brings a distinctive experience to the festival poetry story performance session.

Mairi is an incredible storyteller, with the way she paints a picture of the Scottish countryside or describes a childhood memory of a cosy family party on the night of Hogmanay you can just imagine the settings all around her.
