Charlotte Yates and Gil Eva Craig

Charlotte Yates has recorded six albums of her own, studied contemporary music technology and composition in Australia, produced two Melbourne Fringe Arts Festivals, been artist in residence in Christchurch (2002) and was a finalist for the APRA Silver Scroll Award with her iconic song ‘Red Letter’, and recently studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music, USA. She is working with Gil Eva Craig on a new single for release this year and her seventh album in 2017.

Gil Eva Craig is a multi-instrumentalist and award winning sound designer. She is also an in demand live sound engineer, currently mixing FOH for the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra (currently in the USA), monitors for the Pink Floyd Experience and working at Western Audio Engineering. Gil’s been performing as a duo with singer songwriter Charlotte Yates for three years, playing electric acoustic bass, Eb tenor horn and guitarlele. She co-produced, played on and mixed Charlotte’s sixth album Archipelago.
